A Good Night's Sleep

With your lingering scent on my linen sheets; 

I’m reminded of a good night’s sleep.

Wrapped up in each others arms,

my hand against the small of your back.

The faint smell of your coconut shampoo,

of soap and skin.

Goodnight kisses soon drift to shallow

synchronised breaths.

Tomorrow will be one of many goodbyes,
